Cory Grant will step into the lead role of Frankie Valli Sept. 27. Grant, who has performed the role on Broadway, will join a cast that features Drew Gehling as Bob Gaudio, Michael Ingersoll as Nick Massi and Bryan McElroy as Tommy DeVito with Craig Laurie and Jonathan Weir.
The ensemble comprises Michelle Aravena, Dominic Bogart, Lyndsey Cole, John Michael Coppola, John Michael Dias, Mike Erickson, Alayna Gallo, Steven M. Goldsmith, John Hickman, Michelle Knight, Renee Marino, Kraig McCreary, Rashad Naylor, Timothy Quinlan, Chuck Webb and Ryan Quinn West.
A native of Winnetka, IL, Grant has appeared on Broadway in Jersey Boys and in the national tour of Romeo & Juliet. He has been seen in regional productions of The Who's Tommy, Floyd Collins, Little Shop of Horrors and My Fair Lady as well as in the FringeNYC productions of Broken Hands and The Lightning Field.

Jersey Boys was written by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, with music by Bob Gaudio and lyrics by Bob Crewe. Des McAnuff directed the production with choreography by Sergio Trujillo. The musical, according to press notes, is "the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons: Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito and Nick Massi . . . a group of blue-collar boys from the wrong side of the tracks who became one of the biggest American pop music sensations of all time. They wrote their own songs, invented their own sounds and sold 175 million records worldwide - all before they were 30."
Jersey Boys premiered at the La Jolla Playhouse in October 2004 before arriving in November 2005 at Broadway's August Wilson Theatre, where it continues.
