Presented by WOR 710 AM Radio, the day-long event was created, according to press notes, as a "patriotic 'feel-good' day designed to commemorate the many wonderful things about America."
The afternoon will feature all of WOR's program hosts as well as appearances by Jim Brady, Mary and Carol Higgins Clark, Christine Ebersole, Deborah Gibson, Janice Huff, Carolyn Kepcher, Richard Kind, Darlene Love, Christine Pedi, Jeanine Piro, Daniel Rodriguez, George Ross, Mary Testa, Ben Vereen and Tom Wopat. Also taking part in the festivities will be cast members from All Shook Up; Altar Boyz; Beauty and the Beast; Chitty Chitty Bang Bang; Hairspray; I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change; La Cage aux Folles; Mamma Mia!; Rockapella; and Wicked.
