Film & TV News Catch Stage Favorites as Broadway Icons in Latest Trailer for FX's Fosse/Verdon Sam Rockwell and Michelle Williams star as the title choreographer and dancer duo in the limited series.

The latest trailer for FX's Fosse/Verdon offers a glimpse at several stage favorites of today as some Broadway legends, from Bob Fosse and Gwen Verdon to Liza Minnelli, Joel Grey, and Ben Vereen. Take a look at the sneak peek, which aired during the 2019 Oscars ceremony February 24, above.

As previously reported, the limited series will premiere April 9.

Sam Rockwell and Tony nominee Michelle Williams take on the title roles of Bob Fosse and Gwen Verdon, the legendary on- and offstage duo who collaborated on such musicals as Sweet Charity, Damn Yankees, and Chicago.

Among those also set to appear are Slater as Grey, Ahmad Simmons as Vereen, Kelli Barrett as Minnelli, Bianca Marroquin as Chita Rivera, Norbert Leo Butz as Paddy Chayefsky, Laura Osnes as Shirley MacLaine. Look carefully for cameos from some of them in the new trailer.

Lin-Manuel Miranda is an executive producer on the series, along with Thomas Kail (who directs the pilot), Dear Evan Hansen scribe Steven Levenson (who wrote the pilot and serves as showrunner), Fosse and Verdon’s daughter Nicole Fosse, George Stelzner, and Joel Fields. Andy Blankenbuehler serves as choreographer on the series with Broadway alum Susan Misner, with Alex Lacamoire as supervising music producer.
