Regional News Cast Complete for Ogunquit Playhouse's Crazy for You, Starring Max Clayton

Angelique Ilo will direct the Tony-winning musical featuring a score by the Gershwins.

Casting is complete for the Ogunquit Playhouse's upcoming production of the Tony-winning musical Crazy for You, which will play the Maine venue June 13–July 13.

Joining Max Clayton (The Music Man, Chicago) as Bobby Child will be Emmy winner Sally Struthers (All in the Family) as Mother/Patricia Fodor, Angie Schworer (Some Like It Hot) as Irene Roth, Taylor Aronson as Polly Baker, Delaney Bailey as Patsy, Jim Borstelmann (The Producers) as Eugene, Jack Doyle (Beauty and the Beast) as Everett Baker, Peter Kendall (Million Dollar Quartet Christmas) as Lank Hawkins, Tony Roach (My Fair Lady) as Bela Zangler, and Alexandria Van Paris as Tess.

The ensemble will include Alli Bossart, Matthew Victor Carter, Faith Jordan Candino, Nicholas Cunha, Emma Driver, Kaleb Jenkins, Naomi Kakuk, Trent Kidd, TJ Kubler, Michael P. Korner, Kyle Laing, Abby Linderman, Kaylee Olson, Kurt Phelan, Brett Rawlings, Anne Marie Snyder, and Landon Zwick.

Crazy for You, based on the 1930 musical Girl Crazy, features music and lyrics by George Gershwin and Ira Gershwin, a book by Ken Ludwig, co-conception by Ludwig and Mike Ockrent, with original Tony-winning choreography by Susan Stroman, recreated at the Ogunquit by Angelique Ilo, who will also direct.

The musical played Broadway's Shubert Theatre January 1992–January 1996. Harry Groener and Jodi Benson headed the original Broadway cast. The musical won three 1992 Tony Awards, including Best Musical.

The Ogunquit Crazy for You will also have musical direction by Ken Clifton, scenic design by Adam Koch, lighting design by Richard Latta, original costume design by William Ivey Long, additional costume design by Emerald City Theatrical Costumes, sound design by Daniel Lundberg, wig, hair, and makeup design by Roxanne De Luna, and casting by ARC, Mark Brandon, and Jarrett Reiche. Nikki Lint is the production stage manager.
