An auction of personal property belonging to the late mother-and-daughter Debbie Reynolds and Carrie Fisher will be held beginning September 23 through Profiles in History. With over 1,500 lots, the auction is expected to continue for several days.

A portion of the proceeds will go to both Ms. Reynolds’ charity The Thalians and The Jed Foundation, a charity chosen by Billie Lourd, daughter of the late Ms. Fisher.

The auction will be held at Profiles in Courage's Calabasas location and online at ProfilesInHistory.com.

The many items up for auction include:

  • Fisher’s life-size “Princess Leia” with blaster statue in a vintage wooden phone booth. This is the figure that was featured by Fisher in her HBO special Wishful Drinking
  • Reynolds’ “Kathy Seldon” lavender silk chiffon dress from the “You Were Meant For Me” musical sequence in Singin’ in the Rain
  • Fisher’s on-set chair with personalized chair back that is embroidered “Star Wars: The Saga Continues” used on Return of the Jedi
  • Reynolds’ “Annie” two-piece stage costume from Annie Get Your Gun.
  • Fisher’s life-size C-3PO with electronic lighting elements.
  • Reynolds’ “Molly Brown” costume from the “Belly Up to the Bar, Boys” music number in The Unsinkable Molly Brown
  • Landmark collection of vintage motion picture cameras and lenses including Francis Ford Coppola’s cameras from The Godfather and Apocalypse Now

“It is truly a great privilege for us at Profiles in History to be holding this auction—Debbie and Carrie were both dear friends for many years,” said Joe Maddalena, CEO of Profiles in History, in a statement. “I hope fans from around the world have an opportunity to acquire a memento from their remarkable lives and careers. They are both missed.”

Todd Fisher added, “My mother and sister were magnificent collectors, they amassed an amazing and diverse collection in their lifetimes. The size and scope of their collection rivals most museums. So in keeping with my mother’s wishes we have decided to share part of their magnificent collection with all their friends and fans.”

Oscar and Tony nominee Reynolds—one of the last of the great MGM musical stars—died December 28, 2016, just a day after the passing of her daughter, actor and writer Carrie Fisher. The two lived next door to one another and were the subject of the recent HBO documentary Bright Lights: Starring Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds.
