The August 6 event will take place at The Green Room 42 nightclub in Manhattan, and will feature Paul HeeSang Miller, Nkrumah Gatling, Viveca Chow, Emily Bautista, Antoine L. Smith, Robert Pendilla, Billy Bustamante, Lina Lee, Julian DeGuzman, Anna-Lee Wright, Carol Angeli, Travis Ward-Osborne, Casey Garvin, plus other special guests to be announced.

Tickets cost $15–$40 and can be purchased at Thegreenroom42.com. The club is located in the Yotel at 570 Tenth Avenue.

Founded in 2002 by Lee, Steven Eng, and Nina Zoie Lam, National Asian Artists Project is a New York-based not-for-profit organization “dedicated to showcasing the work of Asian-American theatre artists through performance, outreach, and educational programming. NAAP provides professional opportunities and training to Asian artists, to bridge diverse communities with the outstanding work of professional artists of Asian descent, and to inspire children and adults to bring the arts into their lives.”

Among other projects, NAAP hosts the Broadway Community Chorus, and stages classic musicals cast almost exclusively with Asian artists.
