Running Aug. 12-15, the 10th annual private showcase will develop six new musicals as part of the Village Originals series. Yorkey and Kitt previously developed their hit musical Next to Normal at the Village under the working title Feeling Electric. In Your Eyes was initially written for the Village's Kidstage programming and will receive further development during the festival.

Yorkey previously served as associate artistic director of the Village Theatre and will also direct Jesus Christ Superstar there in June 2011.

In Your Eyes

It Shoulda Been You
