Bitching and Belting, the holiday-themed New York City concert of showtunes and other fun that has celebrated the Fourth of July and Valentine’s Day, now turns its attention to Halloween with a special scare-themed edition Bitching and Belting: Boo!, October 27 at The Green Room 42 in Manhattan.

Performers include Lauren Pritchard (Spring Awakening), Julia Mattison (Godspell), Daniel Quadrino (Newsies), Michael Gioia, Lauren Renahan, Melissa Rose Hirsch, Jenna Miller, Melvinna Rose Johnson, Alex Bird, Christine de Frece, and Ali Gleason. Joey Nelan is music director.

Organizers say, “Bitching and Belting is an unforgettable night where no complaint is too small and no note is too high” and promise “the sassiest songs, most dangerous duets, and, of course, some bad-ass bitching. Grab your Grimmerie, and get ready for our singers to Defy Gravity.”

The Green Room 42 is located inside the Yotel at 42nd Street and Tenth Avenue in Manhattan. Tickets, which cost $25 (no drink/food minimum) can be ordered at TheGreenRoom42.com.
