A starry lineup has been announced for The American Theatre Wing's 2025 Gala Celebration, which will be held September 8 at 6:30 PM at Cipriani 42nd Street.

For the third year, the Wing’s gala will honor the “Unsung Heroes of the Theatre Industry,” with stage stars shining a spotlight on their own personal unsung heroes, including dressers, understudies, makeup artists, and other vital contributors to the art form.

The forthcoming evening will feature the talents of three-time Tony honoree Bernadette Peters (Sunday in the Park With George, Song & Dance), Tony winner Lea Salonga (Miss Saigon, Allegiance), Tony nominee Sara Bareilles (Waitress, Into the Woods), Tony nominee Shoshana Bean (Hell’s Kitchen), Tony winner André De Shields (Death of a Salesman, Hadestown), Krysta Rodriguez (Smash), Tony winner Francis Jue (Yellowface), Tony  nominee Jennifer Simard (Death Becomes Her), and Tony winner Myles Frost (MJ). Tony winner Celia Keenan-Bolger (Mother Play, To Kill a Mockingbird) will also make a special appearance.

The black-tie gala celebration includes cocktails, dinner, and performances. The concert program will be led by musical director Benjamin Rauhala.

Proceeds from the Gala will go to the Wing’s programs, including The Gavin Creel Fellowships, The Andrew Lloyd Webber Initiative, The Jonathan Larson Grants, National Theatre Company Grants, The Playreaders Club (in partnership with The Drama Book Shop), and producing ATW’s Emmy-nominated Working in the Theatre Series.

Founded by seven suffragists in 1917, on the eve of America’s entry into World War I, the American Theatre Wing has spent a century honoring theatrical achievements and fostering artistry. The founder and co-presenter of the Tony Awards, the Wing is currently under the leadership of President and CEO Heather Hitchens.
