The actor will once again play the role of put-upon husband Amos Hart in the long-running, Tony-winning revival of Chicago at the Ambassador Theatre. Benjamin, who succeeds Ray Bokhour in the role, will stay with the Broadway production through Sept. 4. The actor will join a cast that features Charlotte d'Amboise as Roxie Hart, Brenda Braxton as Velma Kelly, Mary Testa as Matron "Mama" Morton, R. Lowe as Mary Sunshine and Brent Barrett as Billy Flynn.

P.J. Benjamin has been seen on Broadway in Torch Song Trilogy, Pippin, Charlie and Algernon, Sarava, Wind in the Willows, Ain't Broadway Grand and The Pajama Game. His screen credits include "Law & Order," "Law & Order: SVU" and "Ice Age."
