An industry presentation of TRICH, a solo show written and performed by Becca Schneider, will be presented April 20 at noon at A.R.T./New York ahead of the show’s May 15-16 engagement at The Foundry in West Stockbridge, Massachusetts.

Jenn Haltman and Casey Pfeifer are directing the play that asks, "What happens when a lifelong secret can no longer remain buried?"

In TRICH, Schneider shares her story of growing up with trichotillomania, a hair-pulling disorder that affects millions but is rarely revealed. Schneider traces her decades-long journey through isolation, shame, and recovery, exploring what it means to feel out of control in one’s body and what can happen when silence ends and connection begins.

The show premiered at the 2021 United Solo Theatre Festival in NYC, receiving Best Actress and Audience Choice Awards.

Schneider is a New York City-based actor and producer. With her company Between Two Boroughs, she has produced and performed in TRICH, Cannibal Galaxy: a love story, Summertime, and The Understudy.

The upcoming presentation is executive-produced by Tony winner Jonathan Demar (Hadestown, Stereophonic, Merrily We Roll Along); Ariana Sarfarazi (Octopus Theatricals, Noor Theatre) serves as general manager and consulting producer.
