News Ayesh, Hernandez, Kelso and Senense to Pay Rent in Westchester Mark Ayesh, Steena Hernandez and Andy Kelso have been cast in the Westchester Broadway Theatre production of Jonathan Larson's Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical Rent.

Patricia Wilcox will direct and choreograph the musical about East Village bohemians, which will open Aug. 22 and run through Sept. 25. Christopher McGovern will musical direct.

Mark Ayesh (See Rock City) will portray Roger with Steena Hernandez as Mimi and Andy Kelso (Fiddler on the Roof) as Mark. The cast will also feature Justin Keyes as Benny, Gabrielle Reid as Joanne, Angelo Rios as Tom Collins, Sara Ruzicka as Maureen and Justin Senense as Angel.

The Rent ensemble will include Joseph Almohaya, Melvin Bell, Lovlee Carroll, Julie Conuel, Jason Gotay, Rebecca Larkin, Jenna Noel, Tanesha Ross, Antoine Smith, Tonya Thompson.

Based on Puccini's La Bohème, Rent resets the tale of struggling artists to New York City in the 1990's. Set against the AIDS epidemic and gentrification of the Lower East Side, Rent traces the friendships and loves of a group of artists as they find their voices in an uncertain world.
