Tony nominee Andrea McArdle returns to the intimate stage of 54 Below March 29 for a two-night engagement.
The Anniestar is offering Confessions of a Broadway Baby at the New York cabaret. Show time both nights is 7 PM; the March 30 performance will also be live streamed.
McArdle originated the title role in Annie in 1977,
receiving a Tony nomination for Best Lead Actress in a Musical and subsequently playing the role in
London’s West End. On Broadway she has also been seen in Jerry’s Girls, Starlight Express, State Fair, Les Misérables, and Beauty and the Beast. She starred as Sally Bowles in the national tour of Cabaret and has played the title roles in Mame and Hello, Dolly!
The musical, a reinvention of Tim Burton’s cult classic film Edward Scissorhands, uses the pop music of Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Alanis Morissette, and more.
