News Alumni From Ithaca, Emerson, Wagner and More Will Rock for BCEFA at The Cutting Room Alumni from the top collegiate fundraisers for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS will join together for Cares Continues: The Strength in Generations – a benefit rock concert celebrating a new generation of activists joining the fight for those battling HIV/AIDS – Sept. 29 at 9:30 PM at The Cutting Room (44 E. 32nd Street).

The concert will be directed by Michael Bello with music direction by Jason Yarcho.

Sons of Origin will serve as house band.

According to press notes, "The one-night-only concert pairs '80s favorites popular during the early days of AIDS activism with hopeful stories from today's activist generation." The alums will represent Elon University, Emerson College, The Hartt School at the University of Hartford, Ithaca College, Syracuse University and Wagner College.

The lineup for the evening will include Adam Kaplan (Newsies) and Julia Mattison (Godspell) as well as Zach Bencal, Alex Boniello, Luke Hoback, Danielle Lussier, Melody Madarasz, Carman Napier, Blake Pfeil, Amanda Snyder, Michael Tacconi, Sarah Talbot and Dana Vincent.
