News All-Female Henry IV Begins Tonight at St. Ann's Warehouse Launching the inaugural season in its new waterfront theatre in Brooklyn Bridge Park, St. Ann's Warehouse welcomes the return of the Donmar Warehouse beginning Nov. 6 for the U.S. premiere of its production of Henry IV, which features an all-female cast and is set against the backdrop of a women's prison.

Helmed by Phyllida Lloyd, who directed Donmar's landmark all-female re-imagining of Julius Caesar, an official opening night is scheduled for Nov. 11. The world premiere in London last year garnered critical acclaim.

The cast of Henry IV features Harriet Walter as King Henry, Jade Anouka, Clare Dunne, Jenny Jules and Susan Wokoma. The ensemble also includes Jackie Clune, Shiloh Coke, Karen Dunbar, Zainab Hasan, Sharon Rooney, Sophie Stanton and Carolina Valdés.

The creative team includes Bunny Christie with Ellen Nabarro for set design, Deborah Andrews for costume design, James Farncombe for lighting design and Tom Gibbons for sound design. Movement direction is by Ann Yee, and fight direction is by Kate Waters. Stef O’Driscoll is assistant director.

Donmar Warehouse also brings its education programs to New York, featuring in-school workshops, an intensive half-day workshop for young women and mentors, as well as workshops organized specifically for young people in the juvenile justice system.
