Manhattan Theatre Club will present a panel discussion titled Trans Visibility in the Theatre after the November 4 matinee performance of Richard Bean's The Nap on Broadway. The discussion, open to the public, will be focused on how the arts industry can sustain and further the current push for greater trans presence and representation.
The panel will be held at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre.

The panelists will be Alexandra Billings, currently on Broadway in The Nap (other credits include Transparent); Kate Bornstein (Straight White Men, I Am Cait); Will Davis, director of India Pale Ale, currently playing at MTC Off-Broadway; Alexa Fogel (Pose Casting Director); Bianca Leigh (The Nap, Transamerica); and Marquise Vilson (Charm).
MTC’s American premiere of The Nap, directed by Daniel Sullivan, is currently playing a limited engagement at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre through November 11. The comedy offers a glimpse into the world of competitive snooker, in which the tournament unfolds live onstage.
Completing the cast are John Ellison Conlee, Johanna Day, Ahmed Aly Elsayed, Ethan Hova, Heather Lind, Max Gordon Moore, Bhavesh Patel, Thomas Jay Ryan, and Ben Schnetzer.
