Broadway News Alex Wyse and Lenne Klingaman Join Broadway's Waitress October 9 The Sara Bareilles musical continues at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre with a cast that includes Nicolette Robinson and Al Roker.

Alex Wyse returns to the Broadway stage in Waitress, taking on the role of Ogie October 9. Also joining the musical is Lenne Klingaman, who makes her Broadway debut as Dawn after originating the role in the national tour.

Wyse and Klingaman step in for Adam Shapiro and Katie Lowes; the husband-and-wife duo took their final bows at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre October 7.

Wyse made his Broadway debut in Lysistrata Jones before going on to appear as Georg in the Deaf West revival of Spring Awakening. His additional credits include the national tour of Wicked, Off-Broadway's Triassic Parq, Bare, and Ride the Cyclone, and the web series Indoors Boys, which he co-created with fellow Broadway alum Wesley Taylor.

Klingaman has performed regionally at the American Repertory Theater (where Waitress received its world premiere), the Denver Center, Colorado Shakes, Berkeley Rep, and Shakespeare Theatre.

The current cast also includes Nicolette Robinson as Jenna (through October 28), Drew Gehling as Dr. Pomatter, Al Roker as Joe, Benny Elledge as Cal, Ben Thompson as Earl, and NaTasha Yvette Williams as Becky.
