Film & TV News Alan Tudyk-Led Con Man Will Premiere on Syfy September 9 The new comedy features the star of Steve Martin’s upcoming Broadway play, Meteor Shower.

Beginning September 9, the hit Emmy-nominated web series ConMan moves to the Syfy network. The show stars Alan Tudyk (Spamalot) as a has-been sci-fi celebrity who tries to relive his glory days on the convention circuit. Syfy will air the previously web-published first two seasons of the comedy.

Tudyk made his Broadway debut in 1999 as Benny Bennet in the comedy Epic Proportions. He then replaced Hank Azaria as Sir Lancelot in Broadway’s Tony-winning Spamalot. He returned to Broadway for Prelude to a Kiss in 2007. Now, after a decade hiatus, Tudyk will star alongside comedian Amy Schumer, Tony winner Laura Benanti, and Keegan-Michael Key in Steve Martin’s upcoming Broadway play, Meteor Shower. He has also provided voiceovers for the animated films Moana and Frozen and appeared in the Star Wars feature film Rogue One.
