Ali Ewoldt and Mat Hostetler have announced their engagement! The couple took to Instagram to share the news with a gallery of photos capturing the moment.
Hostetler popped the question to Ewoldt on bended knee along the Brooklyn Promenade on New Year's Day—and, against a sunset backdrop, Ewoldt said yes.
Ewoldt made her Broadway debut in Les Misérables before starring in The King and I. She then became the first Asian-American to play The Phantom of the Opera's Christine on Broadway. While Hostetler also has also graced the stage including Off-Broadway shows such as The Preacher and The Shrink, he is most familiar to audiences for appearing on television. The actor's screen credits include City on a Hill, The Gilded Age, Boardwalk Empire, and more.
