The 2023 Olivier Awards, London's highest theatrical honors, will be handed out April 2 at Royal Albert Hall.
Choreographer Anthony Van Laast will serve as creative director for this year's honors. Van Laast previously choreographed Tina, Side Show, Sister Act, Bombay Dreams, Mamma Mia!, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat on Broadway, along with Annie Get Your Gun and Song and Dance in London's West End.
Last year's honors saw the revival of Cabaret the night's big winner, with stars Eddie Redmayne and Jessie Buckley earning Oliviers along with a production win for Best Musical Revival. Also awarded were Life of Pi and Back to the Future - The Musical, both of which will make their North American debuts in the coming months, the latter on Broadway.
