On August 2, the New York premiere of Bruce Norris’ A Parallelogram celebrated its opening at Second Stage Theatre. Celia Keenan-Bolger plays Bee in the dark, sci-fi comedy, about a woman who can click through different moments in her life with the touch of a remote control.

Dear Evan Hansen and War Paint director Michael Greif directs a cast that also includes Stephen Kunken, Juan Castano, and Anita Gillette.
The Off-Broadway production currently plays the Tony Kiser Theater, where it began performances July 11.

A Parallelogram premiered in Chicago at the Steppenwolf Theatre Company in 2010. Norris’ Clybourne Park won the 2012 Tony Award for Best Play as well as the 2011 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. His other plays include The Infidel, Purple Heart, We All Went Down to Amsterdam, The Pain and the Itch, The Unmentionables, and The Qualms.
