Waitress star Shoshana Bean, Be More Chill's George Salazar, Ryann Redmond of Frozen, and Kinky Boots' Callum Francis were among the Broadway favorites to take to the New Amsterdam stage June 30 for a special performance of Rent's "Seasons of Love."
The event was one among many this past weekend, celebrating the culmination of a month of NYC Pride and WorldPride, marking the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising and a half-century of LGBTQIA+ liberation.
The performance of "Seasons of Love" was a collaboration between ABC News Live, the Broadway League, and Disney Theatrical Productions.
Also taking part in the performance were Ainsley Melham (Aladdin), James Davis (Oklahoma!), Bonita Hamilton (The Lion King), and Wilson Cruz (Rent), Will Van Dyke (Pretty Woman, Kinky Boots), Christopher Rice (Pretty Woman), and Mason Ingram (The Prom).
