Take a look above at the music video for “Wrote My Way Out” from The Hamilton Mixtape. The release is the second installment in Lin-Manuel Miranda’s year-long #Hamildrop series, which offers Hamilton fans previously unseen or unheard content from the musical phenomenon.

The song, performed by Nas, Dave East, Aloe Blacc, and Miranda himself, is inspired by and samples a particular line from the musical’s Act II number “Hurricane.”

The #Hamildrop series will offer something new every month through December. Last month, Miranda released a collaboration with the Decemberists: a new song featuring cut lyrics for a potential Benjamin Franklin song (the idea to include the Founding Father in the Tony- and Pulitzer-winning musical was ultimately scrapped).

The music video, produced by Illmind, is dedicated to the memory of Miranda's "Abuela Mundi" Edmunda Claudio, who passed away on Christmas morning last year.
