Directed by Scott Ebersold, The View UpStairs opened February 28 at Off-Broadway's Lynn Redgrave Theater at the Culture Project. The story is inspired by one of the most significant but rarely spoken about attacks against the LGBTQ community that took place in a New Orleans gay bar called The UpStairs Lounge. Invisible Wall Productions was behind the New York premiere, which completed its run May 21.
