Prince of Broadway, the musical retrospective that celebrates the work of director-producer Harold Prince, features performances from historic Broadway musicals including Damn Yankees, West Side Story, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Fiddler on the Roof, Cabaret, Company, Follies, A Little Night Music, Sweeney Todd, Evita, Merrily We Roll Along, The Phantom of the Opera, Parade, and Kiss of the Spider Woman, as well as revivals of Show Boat and Candide.

Prince co-directs the production (with Tony winner Susan Stroman) that features both biographical material and songs from many of the shows that earned him a record 21 Tony Awards. Prince of Broadway will officially open on Broadway August 24 at Manhattan Theatre Club’s Samuel J. Friedman Theatre.

Starring in the production are Tony Award winner Chuck Cooper, Drama Desk Award winner Janet Dacal, Bryonha Marie Parham, Tony Award nominee Emily Skinner, Tony nominee Brandon Uranowitz, Kaley Ann Voorhees, Olivier Award nominee Michael Xavier, Tony nominee Tony Yazbeck, and Tony winner Karen Ziemba.
