Legendary singer-actress Liza Minnelli, who turned 70 years old earlier this year, recently performed alongside friend Michael Feinstein at a private event June 9 at The Library at the Public in New York City.
This marks the first time Minnelli performed in public since October 2015 when she was the inaugural performer at Cape Fear Community College’s new Humanities & Fine Arts Center in Wilmington, NC, to a sold-out crowd of 1,500 people.
She sang four songs, including “Cabaret,” “Maybe This Time” and “New York, New York.”
According to her publicist, Scott Gorenstein, Minnelli is looking forward to more performance opportunities later in the year. Click here to read our recent interview with Minnelli, who answered reader questions.
