Ethan Hawke and Paul Dano return to Broadway in Sam Shepard's True West, the first Shepard production on Broadway since the playwright's death in 2017. Shepard, Hawke, and Dano all have long artistic relationships, with Hawke a longtime collaborator and friend of the late playwright.
This production marks James MacDonald's Roundabout debut after directing The Children on Broadway in 2017.
True West also features Marylouise Burke and Gary Wilmes. and it begins previews on December 27 with an official opening on January 24, 2019.
