Julia Mattison, seen in the Broadway revival of Godspell, will return to Feinstein’s/54 Below as her elderly alter ego, Ruby Manger, May 22 at 9:30 PM and shares an exclusive video from her last engagement.
Written and conceived by Mattison with original songs by Mattison and Noel Carey, Ruby Manger Live! The Farewell Engagement will feature musical supervision and orchestrations by Charlie Rosen and direction by Max Friedman.
The evening will include appearances from Carey, Sara Chase, Andrew Kober and Taylor Trensch with Randy Newman at the piano. Alan Stevens Hewitt will lead a seven-piece onstage band.
