Before the stage adaptation of Mean Girls officially opens April 8, check out footage of the new musical in the montage above.
The clip highlights two numbers from Jeff Richmond and Nell Benjamin’s score: “Revenge Party,” led by Barrett Wilbert Weed and Grey Henson as Janis and Damian, and “It Roars,” which introduces the audience to the new-to-school Cady Heron (played by Erika Henningsen).

Also taking the stage at the August Wilson Theatre are Taylor Louderman as Regina George, Ashley Park as Gretchen Wieners, Kate Rockwell as Karen Smith, Kyle Selig as Aaron Samuels, Kerry Butler as Mrs. Heron, Ms. Norbury, and Mrs. George, Rick Younger as Mr. Duvall, and Cheech Manohar as Kevin Gnapoor.
Mean Girls, featuring a book by Tina Fey (who appeared in and penned the 2004 film) and directed by Casey Nicholaw, began performances on Broadway last month following a world premiere in Washington, D.C.
