The Investigation: A Search for the Truth in Ten Acts, starring a host of stage and screen stars in a dramatic interpretation of the Mueller report is now available for theatre fans and political junkies alike.
The play, by Pulitzer Prize winner Robert Schenkkan, is an adaptation of the investigation into President Donald Trump's alleged collusion with Russia during the 2016 election. It streamed via Law Works June 24; watch the entire video below, beginning with a one-minute clip of the actors reviewing the 10 possible acts of obstruction of justice.
The cast roster included All My Sons' Annette Bening as the Narrator, Kevin Kline as Robert Mueller, John Lithgow as Trump, Joel Grey as Jeff Sessions, Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune star Michael Shannon as Don McGahn, Alfre Woodard as Hope Hicks, Justin Long as James Comey, and Jason Alexander as Chris Christie.
Frederick Weller, Ben McKenzie, Noah Emmerich, Gina Gershon, Wilson Cruz, Alyssa Milano, Kyra Sedgwick, Piper Perabo, Zachary Quinto, and Aidan Quinn also appeared during the reading; Sigourney Weaver, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Mark Hamill, and more participated in the event as well.
