Two-time Tony-nominated scenic designer David Korins (Hamilton, War Paint) joins the Oscars creative team for the first time as the production designer for the 91st annual ceremony.
Korins joins a team that includes supervising producer Rob Paine, lighting designer Robert Dickinson, head writer Jon Macks, talent producer Taryn Hurd, co-producer Raj Kapoor, music director Rickey Minor, and writers Mitchell Marchand, Mike Reiss, Matt Roberts, and Beth Sherman.
After making his Broadway debut with the scenic design for a Sarah Jones’ solo play Bridge and Tunnel in 2006, Korins has gone on to design sets for such shows as Hamilton and War Paint (earning Tony nominations for both), Bring It On, Misery, Dear Evan Hansen, Bandstand, and Broadway's incoming Beetlejuice. He also serves as the creative director for Hamilton: The Exhibition set to open in Chicago later this year. He won an Emmy Award for Grease: Live!.

The 91st Annual Academy Awards will air on ABC February 24.
