The play is written by Cooper (Transport Group’s The Memory Show) and will be directed by Noah Himmelstein.
Here's how the play is billed, "When 28-year-old Marny finds a lump in her breast, she uses it as an excuse to pretend she isn’t flunking out of adulthood and moves home to Long Island to live with her mother. As she vies with her family for the audience’s attention, Marny must either succumb to the whims of a family in crisis or take back her life—and her play"
The cast features Lindsay Goranson, Susanna Hari, Jennifer Mello, Michael S. Rehse and Elysia Segal.
Costume design is by Matthew Pachtman (Book of Mormon), scenic design by Brian Dudkiewicz (The Realistic Joneses) and lighting design by Mike Megliola (God of Carnage).
The production runs Aug. 9-24. Performances will be at The Steve & Marie Sgouros Theater, Players Loft (115 MacDougal Street). Visit FringeNYC.org for more information.
