As The Imbible: A Spirited History of Drinking continues performances at New World Stages, the show will welcome a return of its spinoff, The Imbible: Rum & Pirates, August 23–October 23 at the Producers Club Theaters. In the spirit of The Imbible, the show is a mix of comedy, science, history, a cappella tunes, and, of course, drinking.
The Imbible: Rum & Pirates takes the audience on a journey through the history of pirates and rum. The show is also a masterclass in the making of rum cocktails, three of which are served during the performance: Daiquiris, hurricanes, and pirate frogs.
The cast of The Imbible: Rum & Pirates is made up of Nick Barakos, Megan Callahan, Justin Chesney, and Devon Meddock. The show features a book by Nicole DiMattei and Caporale, a cappella vocal arrangements by Josh Ehrlich, and cocktails created by Anthony Caporale.
Performances are Fridays at 8 PM and Saturdays at 5 PM and 8 PM at The Producers Club Theaters, located at 358 West 44th Street. The Imbible: A Spirited History of Drinking is now in its sixth year Off-Broadway. Visit Imbible.nyc for more information.
