This November, Hoboken Children’s Theater Company will debut The Best Christmas Pageant Ever: The Musical JV—a streamlined, 60-minute adaptation of the musical that has been tailored for young performers and young audiences. Broadway Licensing, which holds the rights to the stage production, partnered with Hoboken Children’s Theater Company to premiere the JV version.

The full-length production premiered at Children's Theatre of Charlotte in 2016.

The Best Christmas Pageant Ever is based on the 1971 children’s classic by Barbara Robinson with book and lyrics by Jahanna Beecham and music and lyrics by Malcolm Hillgartner.

The Best Christmas Pageant Ever: The Musical JV will be co-directed by Chase Leyner and Don Brewer. Janet Rothermel will choreograph, with Scott Pearson as music director.
