Tony Award winner Katrina Lenk and former Band’s Visit cast member George Abud will team up for their new show, Swung, an evening of jazz, bebop, and standards, at Birdland March 4 at 7 PM.
Lenk and Abud will perform songs written and performed by Nina Simone, Thelonius Monk, Frank Sinatra, Billie Holiday, Sarah Vaughan, and Rosemary Clooney in the evening featuring "the music of the heart."
Andrei Strizek musical directs and leads a five-piece band, including James Abud on guitar.
