The Band’s Visit will launch its first North American tour in Providence, Rhode Island, in June 2019. Exact dates, theatres, casting, and additional cities will be announced at a later date.
As previously announced, the musical will also make its way to Washington, D.C. as part of the Kennedy Center's 2018–2019 season.
David Yazbek and Itamar Moses’ The Band's Visit officially opened at Broadway’s Ethel Barrymore Theatre November 9, 2017, and was recently nominated for 11 Tony Awards. The show is also the recipient of a number of Drama League, New York Drama Critics’ Circle, Lucille Lortel, Outer Critics Circle, and Drama Desk Awards, among other accolades.
Tickets are now on sale for the Broadway production through February 17, 2019.

The Band's Visit features a book by Moses and music and lyrics by Yazbek. The musical is based on the screenplay by Eran Kolirin, and is directed by David Cromer with choreography by Patrick McCollum.
The current Broadway company includes Tony nominees Katrina Lenk and Ari'el Stachel, as well as Dariush Kashani, John Cariani, George Abud, Etai Benson, Adam Kantor, Andrew Polk, Bill Army, Rachel Prather, Jonathan Raviv, Sharone Sayegh, Kristen Sieh, Alok Tewari, Layan Elwazani, Pomme Koch, Ahmad Maksoud, Madison Micucci, and James Rana.
Musicians include Andrea Grody, Alexandra Eckhardt, Ossama Farouk, Philip Mayer, Sam Sadigursky, Jeff Theiss, Harvey Valdes, and Garo Yellin.
The Band’s Visit follows the story of an Egyptian police band, who, after a mixup at the border, find themselves in a remote village in the middle of the Israeli desert. With no bus or hotel in sight, the band members are led into unlikely friendships with some of the locals, causing their lives to intertwine in unexpected and spectacular ways.
The Band's Visit, which received its world premiere Off-Broadway at Atlantic Theater Company in 2016, is produced by Orin Wolf, StylesFour Productions, Evamere Entertainment, Atlantic Theater Company, David F.
