Carrie St. Louis (Wicked, Cruel Intentions) joined the cast of Broadway’s Kinky Boots May 4, stepping into the role of Lauren. She succeeded Kirstin Maldonado, who took her final bow May 3.
Tyler Glenn, the lead singer of the multi-platinum rock band Neon Trees, made his Broadway debut in the Tony-winning musical May 6 in the role of Charlie Price. The singer will play a limited run through July 15. He succeeded American Idol winner David Cook, who took his final bow May 5.
J. Harrison Ghee, recently seen in the Paper Mill Playhouse world premiere of The Sting, returned to the role of Lola May 1. He followed Wayne Brady, playing his second engagement in the hit musical, in the role created by Tony Award winner Billy Porter.
