The Wiz star Stephanie Mills will join BeBe Winans and the cast of the Broadway-aimed musical Born For This for a November 5 concert at Feinstein’s/54 Below. The concert will feature original songs from the musical that premiered in Atlanta in 2016. Mills’ 2004 album Born For This featured her rendition of the title track.

The 7 PM and 9:30 PM concerts will also feature Maddie Shea Baldwin (Bright Star), Liisi LaFontaine (Dreamgirls), Loren Lott (Once On This Island), Donald Webber Jr. (Hamilton), Kirsten Wyatt (Annie), Nita Whitaker (Ragtime) and director Charles Randolph-Wright (Motown).
The musical about the life of BeBe and CeCe Winans has music and lyrics by six-time Grammy Award winner BeBe Winans, with a book written by director Randolph-Wright, Winans, and Lisa D’Amour. The show has choreography by Warren Adams and is produced by Ron Gillyard and My Destiny Productions.
