Leegrid Stevens’ Spaceman, which closed last season after just one preview, will re-launch at The Wild Project in February. The high-tech solo drama was scheduled to play a limited engagement at the downtown theatre last February, but almost the entire run was canceled after the show's star, Erin Treadway, was injured while exiting the stage.

Treadway will return to star in Spaceman beginning February 14 for a run scheduled through March 9. Official opening is February 17; click here for tickets.

Directed by Jacob Titus and presented by Loading Dock Theatre, the production uses advanced technology to bring to life the challenges and excitement of interplanetary space travel, including simulated micro-gravity. Spaceman follows astronaut Molly Jennis on her attempt to be the first human to reach Mars. Seven months into an eight-month journey, she is the lone crew member of the space module Aeneas.

Spaceman was first performed in 2018 at the Exponential Theater Festival. The Wild Project production, co-presented with Loading Dock Theatre, marked the show's Off-Broadway debut.
