The world premiere of Chasing Mem’ries: A Different Kind of Musical began performances November 7 at The Geffen Playhouse in Los Angeles. The new musical is written and directed by Joshua Ravetch, with pre-existing songs from Alan and Marilyn Bergman, and stars Tyne Daly, Scott Kradolfer, and Robert Forster.
Daly is playing a woman not quite ready to let go of the life she’s loved and the love of her life.
Chasing Mem’ries: A Different Kind of Musical features music by Bill Cantos, Mari Falcone, Dave Grusin, Marvin Hamlisch, Michel Legrand, and Johnny Mandel. The production will officially open November 15, and is scheduled to play through December 17.
