Israeli recording artist Shiri Maimon will make her Broadway debut September 21 in the Tony-winning revival of Chicago at the Ambassador Theatre. Maimon will step into the role of Roxie Hart and is scheduled to stay with the production through October 5.
Maimon, who rose to fame as the runner-up in the TV show Kokhav Nolad, represented Israel in the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest. She was also one of the judges on the first three seasons of The X Factor Israel.

Chicago, featuring a book by Fred Ebb and Bob Fosse, music by John Kander, and lyrics by Fred Ebb, is produced by Barry and Fran Weissler. The Walter Bobbie-helmed revival, choreographed by Ann Reinking, is the winner of six 1997 Tony Awards, including Best Musical Revival, and the Grammy Award for Best Musical Cast Recording.
