The Public Shakespeare Initiative, a collaboration between the Public Theater and The Shakespeare Society, presented To Imagine an Antony – Shakespeare’s Infinite Fancy December 18 at the Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College. Oxford scholar and prize-winning author of The Genius of Shakespeare Jonathan Bate lead the reading, joined by Broadway favorites John Douglas Thompson and Phylicia Rashad reading the title roles in scenes from Antony and Cleopatra.
Nikki Massoud and Phumzile Sitole completed the cast of the reading.
