Joey McIntyre returned to Broadway February 4, joining the cast of Waitress. The New Kids on the Block favorite takes on the role of Dr. Pomatter for a limited engagement through April 7. He succeeds Tony winner Gavin Creel, who played his final performance with Sara Bareilles February 3.
Though known to most for his boy-band gig, the singer has a considerable theatre résumé as well, including Wicked on Broadway, Off-Broadway's tick, tick...BOOM!, and regional productions of A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum and Cabaret.
The current cast includes Stephanie Torns as Jenna, Larry Marshall as Joe, Christopher Fitzgerald as Ogie, Lenne Klingaman as Dawn, Charity Angél Dawson as Becky, Benny Elledge as Cal, and Ben Thompson as Earl.
