With a lineup of special guests, The Skivvies played Brooklyn Brewery June 24 for a concert benefiting The LGBT Bar Association of Greater New York, a non-profit dedicated to providing the LGBTQ+ community with educational programs and advocacy as well as legal services to low-income and LGBTQ+ youth.
Actor-musicians Nick Cearley and Lauren Molina, who make up the underwear-clad musical duo, played a set of stripped-down pop and musical theatre covers alongside Tony Award winner Michael Cerveris (Fun Home, Sweeney Todd), Loose Cattle band member Kimberly Kaye Matt Doyle (The Book of Mormon), Lesli Margherita (Matilda), Evan Todd (Beautiful), Christopher Hlinka, and Marissa Rosen (Bedbugs The Musical).
The event was sponsored by Stonewall and Brooklyn Brewery, and featured the new Stonewall Inn IPA.
