Sara Bareilles, who's currently starring as Jenna in her Broadway musical Waitress, made a surprise visit to Good Morning America May 16 to perform the song “Opening Up” with her fellow castmates. Take a look at the energizing number below.

Also on hand was Betsy Wolfe, who will take over for the Grammy and Tony-nominated composer beginning June 13 at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre.
