Atlantic Theater Company celebrated the official opening of Stephen Trask, Peter Yanowitz, and Rick Elice's new rock opera, This Ain’t No Disco, July 24. The world-premiere production is helmed by Darko Tresnjak with choreography by Camille A. Brown.

In This Ain’t No Disco, a group of drifters and dreamers search for their place in the night world of Studio 54 and Mudd Club. The musical features music and lyrics by Trask and Yanowitz and a book by Trask, Yanowitz, and Elice.

Performances began Off-Broadway June 30 and are scheduled through August 12.

The cast of This Ain't No Disco is made up of Krystina Alabado, Cameron Amandus, Will Connolly, Eddie Cooper, Tony d’Alelio, Lulu Fall, Hannah Florence, Chilina Kennedy, Peter LaPrade, John-Michael Lyles, Krystal Mackie, Trevor McQueen, Nicole Medoro, Ian Paget, Theo Stockman, Samantha Marie Ware, and Antonio Watson.

The world premiere of This Ain’t No Disco features scenic design by Jason Sherwood, costume design by Sarah Laux, lighting design by Ben Stanton, sound design by Emily Lazar, projection design by Aaron Rhyne, musical direction by Darius Smith, and casting by Telsey + Company: Craig Burns, CSA.
