News PHOTO EXCLUSIVE: On The Road With Mother-and-Son Wicked Cast Members Jane Brockman and Jonathan Shew Jane Brockman and her son Jonathan Shew have the unique experience of traveling the country together as members of the second national touring cast of Wicked. They share some pics from the road.

"Coming from a family of three actors, the likelihood of all of us being employed simultaneously is rare," says Brockman. "Two of us being employed together in a smash hit like Wicked is a rare and wonderful experience. I joined the tour in May of 2012, and Jonathan just started with the company last month. Life on the road can be difficult and being away from your family makes it even harder, so it was a dream when Jonathan not only joined the 'Wicked Family' but actually booked the same tour as me. Here's a look at our adventures together in Oz."

Adapted from the novel by Gregory Maguire, Wicked delves into the back story of the iconic characters from Oz. The hit musical has a score by Stephen Schwartz, a book by Winnie Holzman, direction by Mantello and musical staging by Wayne Cilento.

The production also features scenic design by Eugene Lee, costume design by Susan Hilferty, lighting design by Kenneth Posner, sound design by Tony Meola, projections by Elaine J. McCarthy, wig and hair design by Tom Watson, music supervision and arrangements by Stephen Oremus, orchestrations by William David Brohn and dance arrangements by James Lynn Abbott.

Wicked won Tony Awards for Costume Design, Scenic Design and Best Actress in a Musical (Idina Menzel). It was nominated as Best Musical.
