Cast members of the Broadway musical On Your Feet! will gather June 16 with fans at the 9/11 memorial in New York City to sing a tribute to the victims of the June 12 shootings at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando, FL.
The event will take place 1-1:30 PM at the memorial on the site of the former World Trade Center twin towers in lower Manhattan on Greenwich Street with an entrance opposite Cortlandt Street.
The On Your Feet! cast will sing the national anthem. A moment of silence will be observed for the victims and the public will be asked to tie ribbons to the Survivor Tree, the pear tree on the site that survived the collapse of the towers.
The event was arranged by actor and playwright Eric Ulloa (26 Pebbles) who wrote a piece for Playbill.com about what it was like to perform on the Tonys the day of the Orlando attack.
