Nick Offerman (Parks and Recreation, Annapurna) and Kiersey Clemons (Transparent, The Flash) will co-star in Hearts Beat Loud, a new film with music written by Brett Haley and Marc Basch, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Also joining the project are Tony and Oscar nominee Toni Collette, Tony winner Blythe Danner, Broadway alum Ted Danson, and Sasha Lane.
The film centers on a father and daughter who forge a songwriting duo during her final summer at home before leaving for college. Hearts Bead Loud will feature four original songs written by singer-songwriter Keegan DeWitt.
Haley said Hearts Beat Loud was written with Offerman in mind. Both Offerman and Clemons will sing in the picture.
