Youtube has given a pilot order to It's a Man's World, a new comedy series written by playwright and showrunner Theresa Rebeck, according to Deadline.
The show, which will take on gender inequality in the gaming industry, will follow a successful video game design executive who, after being fired inexplicably, decides to dress as a man to get a new job and support her family.
The show is written by Smash creator Rebeck, whose play Bernhardt/Hamlet begins previews on Broadway today.

It’s a Man’s World is produced by Christina Wayne’s Assembly Entertainment in association with ITV Studios America. The pilot will be executive produced by Wayne (I’m Dying Up Here, Copper) and Rebeck, and Jill Greenberg is the co-executive producer.
